Anne Lockhart is an American actress. She was born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6th, 1953. She is well-known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba from the 1978-1979 TV series Battlestar Galactica. The actress is the daughter and granddaughter of actors Gene Lockhart. The career of Lockhart began in a young age. When she was just 4, Lockhart starred as T is for Tumbleweed. It was nominated as an Oscar Award for the short film. The actress accompanied her mother on the set where she would learn about the inner workings of the business. Lockhart was even a part of numerous Lassie episodes. Her debut film came out as Dora in Jory in 1972. Initially, she rejected the part because it was too fragile. Glen created a brand new role for her, with Sheba as a more powerful character. The first 25-page script had been read by her and she immediately agreed. The show ran for one season. She appeared in Joyride, a 1977 movie with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) in addition to alongside Robert Carradine. In 1987 she co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
