Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania) was born to Dorothy Lawson, a former employee at a factory as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool and die maker. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone started second grade in kindergarten when she was five. Stone graduated from high school with a diploma from Saegertown located in Saegertown in Pennsylvania in the year 1975. Additionally, she participated in Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone together with her aunt in 1977, made the move in New Jersey for a modeling job. She signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week later. The next step was Europe where she spent one year residing with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone, however, became frustrated with modeling and acting in Europe. She chose to pursue her career acting as a model while living in Europe. Stone was in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" at the age of twenty. The film was met with mixed reviews.
